KOJUKOJU is a concept that promotes small Finnish farmers in need of visibility for their products. It combines service design (operational model, business model), furniture design (booths) and visual/product design (pamphlets, tableware) creating a modern-day stage for a wide range of yet unknown products.
In the heart of the concept are two booths that can be taken into different events; either as a one component tasting booth, or a two component cooking/sales booth. The other aspects of the KOJUKOJU like product design (such ass tableware) and design management (including social media and visual image), tie everything together aiming to create a phenomena around the KOJUKOJU itself.
Design process of this project consisted of interviews and co-design sessions with 9th graders, in order to take into account the young. We saw them as an important part of the success of the cause, because they are the future consumers. 2018.
This concept was created in a group including me, Nora Bremer, Viktor Sundman, Samuli Saarinen and Aarni Tujula.
